Ford Window Sticker Lookup by VIN

Use the following form to lookup a window sticker using only the VIN on your Ford vehicle.

What is a VIN?

A VIN, or Vehicle Identification Number, is a unique 17-character code that identifies a vehicle. It's made up of capital letters and numbers, and is assigned to each vehicle by the manufacturer. Fords have included VINs since 1980.

What information does the VIN contain?

The VIN isn't just a random set of characters, it usually uses a series of specific sets of characters to define where the vehicle was manufactured, the body style, model, engine, etc. Many of the same models of vehicles will have similar characters in their VIN at the beginning, but the last 6 digits are usually reserved as a unique code indentifying that specific vehicle within that year/make/model class.

Where can I find my VIN?

You can usually find the VIN at the base of the vehicle's windshield and in the door jamb. There are other locations, but those are the most accessible. If you're car shopping, the VIN is also usually listed in the ad.

What's the purpose of this tool?

I built this tool to help me find and compare window stickers for new Fords when I was shopping. Some car dealerships include a link to the window sticker while others didn't, so by building this tool I was able to just quickly look up multiple VINs and compare them without worrying if the capability was on the dealership's website. The info and links on the dealership sites are sometimes not eevn 100% accurate so I found that getting the window sticker provided a more reliable source of information.

Note: if the VIN you enter does not render a window sticker, and returngs something like "The window sticker has not yet been released for this vehicle" then it's possible that the window sticker is not available yet OR if it's a used vehicle it may just not be available online anymore.
